Margherita Paran was born in Minsk, Belarus. In Moscow she studied for a bachelor's degree at the Academy of Literature, and completed her master's degree at the Academy of Music.
She taught at art schools in Moscow and Minsk and worked for many years in two theaters in Moscow and Minsk as editor and composer.
In 1990 she immigrated to Israel and for a while taught at the Jerusalem Academy of Music.
Upon her arrival in Israel Margarita began to study sculpture. She began her studies at Hava mehutan's in Israel Museum, continued privately with Paul Taylor and performed master class with the sculptor Francoise Bourgeois in Paris.
Later she participated in several group exhibitions and taught sculpture at the Art Center in Musrara
